The Fitness Trainer Competition has been launched for 2017 - the fifth year we have run the event.
The WorldSkills UK Fitness Trainer Competition, managed by AoC Sport and supported by Active IQ is the only active leisure skills competition in the UK for students working towards careers in the sport and leisure industry.
The competition tests aspiring fitness professionals’ knowledge and skills, while participants also have the opportunity to compete at an institution, regional and two national levels.
The 2016 final was part of the WorldSkills UK Competition Finals during The Skills Show – held at the NEC, Birmingham - for the first time.
2017 will be the fifth year of the Fitness Trainer Competition. Following feedback, it has been developed to ensure that the competition experience informs and enriches the teaching and learning process for students and staff.
