Lunar Challenge

The Lunar challenge is an inclusive run, walk or cycling team challenge using the free Strava app.

AoC Sport and Natspec member colleges are challenged to collectively reach 238,855 miles and travel to the moon!

The challenge aims to support staff and students to prioritise their physical and mental health, during what will be a challenging time for many. To support this, AoC Sport has created a five ways to wellbeing toolkit for colleges with examples of how different aspects of the challenge can be linked to improving mental wellbeing.

As with previous challenges the national leaderboard below will be updated twice a week so colleges can compete against each other and see who has contributed the most miles.

The format and full details are available here

There are a number of prizes up for grabs for colleges that take part in the challenges.

  • For those who contribute the most miles to the national total
  • All participating colleges that reach 300 activities will also be entered into a prize draw.
  • Prize draw for those to participate in the spot challenges
