70 students selected as AoC Sport’s This Girl Can ambassadors

70 college students have been selected as AoC Sport’s This Girl Can ambassadors, following applications from more than 190 females.

The final 70 were chosen following some truly inspiring applications, with each student doing incredibly well to be selected.

Our ambassadors will now attend a training day at The Orbit in London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on Thursday 2 March, which will include:

  • Sport England launch – Understanding This Girl Can
  • Sports Leaders – Leadership party
  • Inspirational speaker
  • Personal brand and social media training
  • Group work – Planning and promoting activities

This training coincides with the launch of Sport England’s new This Girl Can advert, which will air for the first time on Friday 24 February, during a break in Coronation Street.
