We are looking for 10 young people from College Football Hubs across the country to represent children and young people and help shape and develop college football.

Our vision is to unify and inspire through College Football.

The newly appointed team of young people will build on the success of last year’s National Student Management Team, however will have different priorities and a focus on developing leadership skills which will support the members to become more employable and work ready.

The ECFA National Leadership Committee will have three main priorities and areas of focus including:

  • Women’s Football – The team will support ECFA to deliver the FA target of ‘doubling female football’ through strategic work engaging College Football Hubs to support delivery.
  • Diversity and Inclusion – The team will focus on providing opportunities to engage with multiple aspects of football for hard to reach groups including those from a black and minority ethnic background, focusing on creating a diverse student workforce within colleges.
  • Media Production – The team will showcase the cross college impact of football within College Football Hubs raising the awareness of the ECFA through media production including photos/videos and other marketing and promotional materials.

The ECFA National Student Leadership Committee will contribute towards the AoC Sport strategy by helping to get more students active through football, and will be challenged to have an impact on increasing the number of students playing football at their college.

The structure of the ECFA National Student Leadership Committee can be found below.

Please note that only EFCA Football Activators and college students on media courses have the opportunity to apply to become a member or the ECFA National Student Leadership Committee. The ECFA encourages media departments within College Football Hubs to apply, as the Media Production team will be selected as a whole task group. This will enable student s working in media departments to come to events to produce video and media content that will raise the profile of ECFA and AoC Sport.

Successful candidates will be expected to attend all ECFA National Student Leadership Committee meetings throughout the year. Meetings will be held at Wembley Stadium, London HA9 0WS.
