Entries open for 2019 AoC Sport Open Golf Championships

AoC Sport is delighted to announce we will once again be returning to the superb Fairmont St Andrews resort in Scotland for the Open Golf Championships in 2019.

This competition represents an excellent opportunity for golfers at AoC Sport member colleges to experience the challenge of links golf in one of the most famous golfing areas in the world.

The event takes place on 5 and 6 March 2019 and is open to both teams and individual golfers of all abilities (as long as they hold a CONGU handicap).

The competition rounds will take place over the superb Torrance and Kittocks links golf courses at the Fairmont estate, recognised as one of the top golf resorts in the world.

Fairmont St Andrews has also previously been awarded IAGTO European Golf Resort of the Year and Resort Hotel of the Year at The Golf Tourism Awards – the fourth time in five years further highlighting this fantastic opportunity available for students.

As well as the competition itself, we do recommend that students and colleges take the opportunity to explore the surrounding area. A visit to St Andrews is not complete without a walk around the picturesque town or, as competing colleges have done in the past, potentially play the old course itself.

The closing date for entries is Friday 8 February 2019. The entry fee has remained the same as last year at £90 per student.

To enter please complete the entry form. Entries will only be accepted on the official online entry form.
