FA Girls’ Football Week resource pack available to download

The second FA Girls’ Football Week of 2016 is now less than two weeks away, and AoC Sport has released a resource pack for colleges to use for the event.

Girls’ Football Week runs from 10-16 October, and 84 colleges across the country are currently signed up to put on events with the aim of getting more females involved in the sport.

In total, 31,126 girls and women have signed up to play football as part of the week – 9,000 more than the original target of 22,000. Initial figures leave The FA hopeful of exceeding the 52,000 females who took part in April’s Girls’ Football Week.

If your college has not yet registered to take part in the week, you can do so via the FA website.

You can access AoC Sport’s resource pack here, where you will find ideas for the week, as well as posters to advertise your events to students.

In addition, colleges can add their own text to our range of resources below, for use on their website and social media.
