Invitation to tender for FA Women’s Football Apprentice Programme

AoC Sport is seeking bids from registered training providers who wish to provide the training for the FA Women’s Football Apprentice programme commencing in August 2020.

The FA Women’s Football programme supports 20 AoC Sport member colleges to employ apprentices in roles which develop the women’s football offer within their institution and local community.

The apprenticeship standard to be delivered by the successful tenderer is the Level 3 Community Sport Health Officer apprenticeship.

The aim of the programme is two-fold; to provide an FE staffing solution which develops individuals to be the future workforce for the women’s game, and to support The FA in doubling female participation.

The apprentices drive participation in girls’ and women’s football both in the FE colleges and their local community, to increase the number of 16-19-year-old females as well as BAME participants.

Each apprentice is tasked with engaging 100 new female participants and 10 new female leaders, with tailored inclusion and diversity targets.
