Keynote speakers announced for ECFA National Football Conference

Baroness Sue Campbell and Karl George MBE have been confirmed at the keynote speakers for next month’s ECFA National Football Conference.

The Conference, which takes place at the inspiration venue of St George’s Park on Wednesday 17 May, surrounds the theme of ‘People make strategy happen’.

Baroness Campbell, Head of Women’s Football at The FA, will share The FA’s new Women’s Football Strategy and the important role colleges will play in helping to double the player and fan base of women’s football by 2020 as well as support the necessary step change in elite performance.

Karl George MBE, Managing Director at The Governance Forum, will be discussing the importance of diversity in the board room, the essential skills for future board members and how to influence upwards. Karl will share his expertise and ground breaking work in the field of corporate governance and discuss the important role colleges must play in making both future decision makers in sport and business representative of their communities.
