New college disability sport survey launched

AoC Sport is delighted to announce that colleges across the UK can now submit their disability sport data to the 2018 AoC Sport Disability Survey.

You can access the survey at and the system is enabled for you to save your part-finished survey and return to complete more sections later. The final closing date for submissions will be Friday 20 July 2018.

The survey is open to all colleges, including Natspec colleges, and we would encourage as many colleges as possible to submit their data to create the clearest picture of the disability sporting landscape, which will create the strongest case for further and sustained investment.

The survey will ask respondents about many aspects of disability sport within the college ranging from academic information, sports participation, volunteering and external support to name a few key areas.

AoC Sport collects sport data to assess progress against the targets set in the strategy and the data provides essential management information for your college, with regional and national benchmarks for you to compare.

Comparisons of your data will help you identify priorities for your Self-Assessment Review (SAR) and college sport strategies. It also provides us with a valuable advocacy tool to make the case for further investment into college disability sport nationally.

This survey marks the beginning of AoC Sport’s data collection for 2018/19 to replace the previous College Sport Survey which had been running for many years.

AoC Sport hopes that this new approach to data collection will streamline our data and management information service to members, reduce the time commitment from college staff but ultimately create a stronger and more reliable data set for members to use, and rely on.
