New ECFA strategy to be launched at National Football Conference

AoC Sport is delighted to announce we will be launching our brand new ECFA strategy at next week’s National Football Conference.

The Conference, taking place at the iconic venue of St George’s Park on Wednesday 17 May, has the theme ‘People make strategy happen’.

And our new strategy, spanning 2017-2021, will be available for the first time at the Conference.

Including forewords from ECFA chair Kevin Hamblin and AoC Sport National Football Development Manager Lauren O’Sullivan, it outlines the current position of further education football and our strategic priorities and tactics to achieve these aims, over the next four years.

Lauren O’Sullivan said: “We are delighted to be able to present our new strategy at next week’s National Football Conference.

“It has been a huge piece of work over the past few months, including a consultation period with key stakeholders, including our member colleges.

“We are inspired by the final outcome and hope you will be too. We’ve included some ambitious goals within the strategy but by working closely and effectively with our member colleges, ECFA league entrants, FE staff, student volunteers, ECFA partners, stakeholders and The Football Association, we believe we can achieve our aims and make FE football bigger and better than ever.”

Two keynote speakers – Baroness Sue Campbell and Karl George MBE – have already been announced, while the programme also includes a number of breakout sessions, with plenty of variety for delegates to enjoy.

Limited tickets are still available, so book your place today.
