Staff health and wellbeing paper launched
AoC Sport and Association of Colleges Employment, Policy and Services team have collaborated to publish a paper to promote health and wellbeing among college staff members.
The paper includes a series of case studies of college staff health and wellbeing initiatives and useful tools that are available to colleges to help promote a healthier lifestyle to staff.
It follows the guidance published by the Employment, Policy and Services team for managing sickness and absence, including the importance of prevention and promoting health and wellbeing.
The new resource includes an in-depth insight of how Great Yarmouth College positively changed the culture of the college by focusing on staff health and wellbeing, a number of shorter college case studies that demonstrate how individual colleges have positively used staff physical activity and health initiatives, and a series of tools designed to help organisations including colleges to improve staff health and wellbeing.
