Students prepare for Celtic Manor golf challenge

Students are preparing for the second event of the AoC Sport Open Golf Championships at Celtic Manor next month. The event takes place on the 18-hole Roman Road course on Wednesday 4 March. AoC Sport is pleased to offer this opportunity for students to play on a course which hosted the Ryder Cup in 2010 and is located in beautiful surroundings. More than 60 students from 19 different colleges and schools entered the tournament and will be competing in the following categories:

• Men’s Gross
• Men’s Net
• Ladies Gross
• Ladies Net
• Team event

The first tee off time is 9.20am and the full times are available on the Open Golf Championships webpage. We have also provided a checklist for competitors, guidance on distance measuring devices and a spectator code, available from the website. The third and final event will take place as part of the AoC Sport National Championships April 24-25 at Morley Hayes Golf course. More details are available here.
