What to expect at the 2019 AoC Sport and ECFA National Conference

For the second year in a row, the AoC Sport summer conference and ECFA National Football Conference have joined forces to deliver one, improved and integrated conference for further education.

The conference takes place on Wednesday 5 June in Nottingham and will highlight the important role our sector plays in getting more young people active, whilst looking at how young people are benefiting through education, employment and health outcomes.

The conference, sponsored by Pearson, will feature workshops, engaging presentations and discussions across a wide range of topics relevant to all football, sport and physical activity delegates.

AoC Sport Development Manager Laura Danskin said: “When designing the programme, it was really important to us to ensure our conference was informative but that it also provides the opportunity for delegates to take something away that can have a real impact on their delivery, programmes and the wider college.

“The programme features a wide array of expert speakers and industry leaders and allows delegates to get up to speed with relevant insight and topics relevant to the sector. There is something for everyone from coaching staff to development staff and managers.”
